MoreI see this question in two ways. That the questioner wants to spray the undercarriage screws with a unknown substance and then use WD-40 to keep them free of rust or to just spray the bolts on the chassis with WD-40. Either way here comes my answe
MoreMost mechanics in my area are using WD-40 or gasoline to clean throttle body while I c in videos that carb cleaner is used is there any difference in cleaning?
MoreIf your lawn mower, go-cart, tiller, or other small engine driven machine isn't running well or not running at all, it may be time to clean the carburetor! Many times a foul running engine can be
MoreMost people clean it with either carb or brake cleaner. I would make sure it says MAF sensor safe on the can though. The wire inside the MAF sensor heats up and measures the amount of air through voltage drop. I wouldn't think WD-40 could mess it up, but certainly you're wanting a chemical that removes oils, not adds them.
MoreYOU'LL BE SORRY!!!! I have gotten away with paint, wd-40, anything aerosol on trucks, just don't get caught! Either will dry a gas engine out in a heartbeat, and you could spray until your heart's content, and it won't start. Without a little oil in the cylinder to SEAL, a gasser won't start.
MoreThe WD-40 Throttle Body Cleaner is the perfect product to dissolve all of your engine troubles away! Good things come in a small package, and this all in one product is not only a throttle cleaner but also a carb cleaner for the carburetor and unpainted metal components. It comes with a double featured cleaning system.
MoreI really don't know what you were seeing in the videos, but I do have a very good suggestion for you as far as connectors go. Use WD-40. It does three things for you. WD stands for Water Displacement: This means, if you spray it, it will keep water outside of the connector for as long as the WD-40 remains in there. If it's a sealed (or semi

MoreNo WD-40! The kerosene will dissolve the gasket (WD-40's just kerosene and perfume.) Tighten the hold down bolt/nuts a little at a time, opposite could occur if you cracked a vacuum line in the original installation and the hose was the recipient of the over spray of the carb cleaner (see what I mean?). GeeAea Carburetor gaskets leaking
MoreCarb problems on 235 Chevy. Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by It was working just fine with the original Rochester carb..(yea i should have just kept it on) anyway it worked just fine. did you check to see if the float had a hole in it? could be filling with gas causing it to sink. spray some wd-40 around the base
MoreSpray-On Liner - If you have a spray on truck bed liner cleaning your pickup truck bed may be as easy as simply cleaning the rest of your truck. These types of liners are really durable and strong and since they are permanent you wouldn't be able to remove them for cleaning.
More>Is it safe and useful (preventing/removing moisture build-up) to spray >WD-40 over the distributor and spark plug wires? (Of course, I mean >while the engine is off.) What about inside the distributor, i.e. by >removing the cap and spraying the parts inside? I wouldn't spray it on the wires.. When the solvent evaporates, WD-40 is basically 90W
MoreWD-40 attracts fish. Spray a little on live bait or lures and you will be catching the big one in no time. Also, it's a lot cheaper than the chemical attractants that are made for just that purpose. squirt some in the carb and crank it! The company also owns 3-in-1 oil and Lava soap. He had a can of wd-40 in his truck. I pulled the air
MoreIn most cases that hole is just the right size to accept the red tub that you'll find with spray solvents like carburetor cleaner or spray lubricant. In some cases the red tube is thinner by just a little so in that case I'll use a sharp all or pointy tip to slightly flare the red tube. Right after I purchased the truck, before it got
